Prof. Dr. Mehmet Kuşaf, Head of Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Faculty of Engineering stated that we use electronics in various industrial units such as automation systems, microcontrollers, printed circuits, industrial robotic arms, smart greenhouses, biomedical devices, aircraft guidance, and control systems. Also, products such as night vision systems, scanning robots, automatic stocking systems, photo cameras, videos, washing machines-dishwashers, cash dispensers are included in electronic technology.

It was emphasized that electronics have a very wide range of use, and the program aims to train graduates to meet the needs of the industry on these systems.

Kuşaf provided information about the courses to be taken within the scope of the program and he said: “students will be trained fully by taking courses about electronics, microcontrollers, automation, robotics, industrial data collection and analysis, programmable controllers, electric motors and drivers.”

The graduate students will specialize in each vocational course they take. “Graduates can work in public or private sector; they can work in technical services, maintenance-repair units, electrical-electronic and electronic assembly and disassembly works, microcontroller programming, electrical-electronic and machine device manufacturing factories, electronic design offices, control and command systems, PLC programming and robotics, and they can do their own business,” said Prof. Dr. Kuşaf.
