Psychology (English) Program is Quality Ensured

Cyprus International University (CIU) Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Psychology (English) program has been accredited for the second time by the “Science, Literature, Science - Literature, Language and History - Geography Faculty Education Program Evaluation and Accreditation Association” (FEDEK) for a period of five years, and hence has  been confirmed that it is an outstanding program. 
CIU Faculty of Arts and Sciences Dean Prof. Dr. Emre Debreli stated that FEDEK visited the CIU campus following a  long-term reporting process and said, “The delegation appointed by FEDEK obtained information about the relevant program during  their three day visit. They also had the chance to meet with our faculty members, graduates and students and examine our educational opportunities and quality on site."

Debreli stated that the visit of the FEDEK delegation to the university to assess the Psychology program was carried out successfully, and the Psychology (English) program was unconditionally accredited for five years for the second time.

Prof. Dr. Emre Debreli pointed out that the Psychology Department will continue with firm steps and confidently towards the future with its ever-improving physical structure, curriculum and exceptional faculty members. He underlined that the accreditation achieved is a very important assurance for CIU and specifically for the Faculty of Arts and Sciences.

Referring to the importance of graduating from a program approved by FEDEK, Debreli said, “FEDEK approval is an important factor for both graduates and our current students. Graduating from a program approved by FEDEK provides a significant advantage to all our graduates and students."
