Alumni

Career and Alumni Center aim to maintain and update the personal information of all CIU graduates and also organize social events in various fields in order to strengthen and keep permanently the communication strong between the graduates after graduating. In order to measure the satisfaction of our graduates, a questionnaire study is conducted and analyzed at the end of each academic year. The Center organizes workshops and seminars for the students according to their needs and supports CIU graduates in their career paths. We bring our students and graduates together to engage in social studies with interactive sharing. We share job and internship opportunities for students and graduates with the collaboration of national and international companies and organizations.

The Career and Alumni Center of Cyprus International University (CIU) is organizing a special event titled "Careers Talks with Alumni" to connect its alumni's knowledge and experiences with students. This exceptional event will take place on December 18, 19, and 20, 2024, in the Çevik Uraz Center Conference Hall, where 16 alumni with successful careers in various fields will share their experiences.
Event Details:
The event will feature 5-6 sessions per day in a format where alumni from different faculties share their career journeys and interact directly with participants. Some sessions will be conducted in English, others in Turkish, and some in both languages.

•    Kamila Pazylova (International Relations, 2018) – Career Journey and International Experiences
•    Ara Gözbek (Radio and Television, 2008) – Media and Career
•    Melike Oluk (Gastronomy and Culinary Arts, 2023) – Career in Creative Kitchens
•    Lawyer Hasan Kaan Yaman (Law, 2016) and Lawyer Aslı Yaman (Law, 2017) – Career Opportunities in Law and Mediation
Purpose of the Event:
As the Coordinator of the Career and Alumni Center, the goal of this event is to bring together the success stories of our alumni with today’s students, guiding and supporting them in their career planning. We also aim to strengthen our ties with our alumni through this opportunity.
