Academic Orientation Days are being organized for newly registered students of CIU
Within the scope of the 2021-2022 Academic Year Fall Semester Orientations days, an information and acquaintance event has been organized for new students, within the Cyprus International University (CIU) institute, faculties, and schools.
Following education being carried out online for a long period of time due to the COVID-19 pandemic that has been experienced across the world, and with face-to-face education beginning once again, the organizations prepared within the framework of the Academic Orientation days aimed to transfer information to the newly registered students during the 2021-2022 Academic Year fall semester, as well as bringing together the academic staff and the students.
During the informative meetings that were held at the Çevik Uraz Conference Hall with the participation of the academic staff in the academic units, information in relation to the course registration process, course attendance rules, internship and graduation projects, examination rules, double and minor program opportunities, the academic achievement system, student personal development activities, and certification, was provided.
Following the mentioned informative meetings, special treats were offered especially to the international students from different cultures, in an effort to introduce them to the Turkish Cypriot cuisine, during the acquaintance activity. The acquaintance activities that were organized within the framework of the pandemic measures, received a great deal of interest from the students.
