CIU to host four different international conferences

Within the cooperation of the Turkish Higher Education Quality Council (YÖKAK), Cyprus International University (CIU), and Istanbul-Cerrahpaşa University, preparations for the 4 separate international conferences will be organized between 29 – 30 July, continue intensely.

Due to the new type of coronavirus (Covid-19) epidemic that is being experienced across the world, the conferences being organized and hosted at the Cyprus International University will take place both online and face-to-face, within the framework of precautions.

The conferences that will take on the subjects of International Science and Technology, International Teacher Training, International Communications-Media, and Quality in International Higher Education, expect participation by a high number of academicians and experts, both from abroad and nationally.

During the opening ceremony of the conferences in question, YÖKAK President, Prof. Dr. Muzaffer Elmas, Higher Education Planning, Supervision, Accreditation, and Coordination Board (YÖDAK) President Prof. Dr. Turgay Avcı, and CIU Rector, Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri, will each make a speech.

“The role and importance of international accreditation in the development and dissemination of quality culture in the Northern Cyprus Higher Education Area” titled panel that will be taken to hand on the first day of the congress, will see speeches from CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri, Eastern Mediterranean University Rector Prof. Dr. Aykut Hocanın, Middle East Technical University-North Cyprus Campus Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Oğuz Solyalı, and Near East University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Kurt.

To be held also at the congresses will be special sessions and workshops, with expert invited speakers. The papers presented at the conferences will be published in book reports and academic journals.
