CIU’s Social Responsibility Project

Serdarlı Mayor Halil Kasım, who visited the CIU Hair Care and Beauty Workshops, congratulated the academicians and students of the Hair Care and Beauty Services Program for their social responsibility project, and noted that they would continue their cooperation with the university to ensure the continuation of such activities.

Chair of the CIU Hair Care and Beauty Services Department Dr. Vali Gjinali stated that they prepare students for the profession so that they become highly qualified individuals and said, "Our students take part in social responsibility projects that make them feel very happy. We are all proud that others can benefit from the works our students perform." 

Gjinali said they are trying to carry out joint activities with the municipalities that are performed by our students regarding personal care practices specifically designed for women aged 65 and over. These applications include hair dyeing, blow-drying, skin care, eyebrow, facial hair removal and nail care. 

Gjinali explained that thanks to the social responsibility projects conducted by the students in Hair Care and Beauty Services program, they had the opportunity to improve their manual skills, and he also gave information about future events, and stated that the social responsibility projects will continue. In this regard, they will visit nursing homes where they will exemplify personal care applications.
