Cooperation Protocol Signed Between CIU and CES
A cooperation protocol was signed between Cyprus International University and Cyprus Entrepreneurship Station (CES) in order to support students in taking a more active role within the entrepreneurship ecosystem.
During the program held at CIU, CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi met with CES Co-Founders Niyal Öztürk and Gamze Menteş Muhtaroğlu.
CIU Rector Prof. Dr. Erbuğ Çelebi stated that they aim to establish a startup program within the university and emphasized that an important step has been taken to help students transform their ideas into business ventures. Çelebi noted that the training, mentorship, and various support mechanisms needed throughout entrepreneurial processes will also be developed within the scope of this collaboration.
CES Co-Founder Niyal Öztürk highlighted that the cooperation will provide significant opportunities for young entrepreneurs and stated that they will support students in developing knowledge and skills, receiving mentorship, building connections with the business world, and gaining access to investors.
Within the framework of the protocol, it is planned to implement joint projects, training programs, and mentorship activities that will contribute to the entrepreneurial development of CIU students.
