Shooters will compete for the Ömer Kolozali Cup at CIU

The Air Guns 2020 "Ömer Kolozali" competition, included within the 2020 Activity program of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) Shooting Federation, is to be held at the CIU Arena Sports Complex Air Weapons Shooting Range during 12-13 December.

The competition that will maintain the rules of the International Shooting Sport Federation, is to begin at 10:00 on Saturday morning.

Competing in the Air Pistol and Air Rife branches of the competition will be approximately 40 athletes from federation member clubs. Within a limited time, 60 and 40 shots are to be fired based on categories within the competition, and once this part of the competition is completed, the shooters will be graded by the jury in accordance to the hit points they have achieved.

Also competing in the competition is CIU’s Olympic Air Pistol and Olympic Air Rifle athletes, as well as CIU's only Paralympic handicapped shooting team.

Taking place within the framework of the International Shooting Sports Federations technical rules, the competition is to be held under the control of the federation's trained referees.

The awards determined as a result of the competition will be presented by the federation team.
