Aytaçoğlu, a specialist in cardiovascular surgery, gave information in particular about what people should do if they realize they’re having a heart attack, and went on to say "if there is someone with them, it is important they call 112 as quickly as possible, to make the patient comfortable in a seated 45 degree position, and to ventilate the environment well. If the patient is alone, they should call 112, leave the door open and sit in a 45-degree position and wait for an ambulance”.

Prof. Dr. Aytaçoğlu emphasized the importance of calling 112 and providing location information, especially in the case of crises that may arise while driving, and emphasized the necessity of ceasing to drive in his statements.

Regular Heart Check-ups are important

Emphasizing the importance of regular check-ups especially after a certain age, Aytaçoğlu stated that the cost of neglecting the necessary check-ups is sometimes paid with loss of life, which is extremely sad in terms of health.

Prof. Dr. Aytaçoğlu emphasized that while regular check-ups can assist with taking preventive measures and postpone deaths in many cases, failing to do so will lead to death.

In his statements, Aytaçoğlu also gave information about vascular occlusions and said that attention should be paid to smoking, control of diabetes, high blood pressure and salt consumption, dietary habits and lifestyle.

Stress consumes the body quickly

Reminding that stress is one of the most emphasized issues, Aytaçoğlu stated that a serious struggle is needed in this area and that stress plays a serious role in both young and sudden deaths. Stating that all efforts should be made to stay away from stress, Aytaçoğlu noted that in a stressful environment, the body is constantly under hormonal pressure and therefore rapidly exhausted.
