White apron and oath ceremony was held at the CIU Faculty of Pharmacy

Cyprus International University (CIU) Faculty of Pharmacy held their 2020-2021 Academic Year White Apron and Oath Ceremony.

Due to the increase in the new type of corona virus (COVID-19) cases in recent days, the ceremony was organized online.

The ceremony, which was presented by Faculty of Pharmacy Academic Staff Dr. Asım Eğitmen, saw speeches from CIU Rector, Prof. Dr. Halil Nadiri, Faculty of Pharmacy Dean Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yazan, and Turkish Cypriot Pharmacists Association President Pharm. Dr. Umut Öksüz, who all congratulated the graduates.

During her speech during the ceremony, Pharmacy Faculty highest grading graduate, Mary-Favour Dane Osim-Asu shared her experiences from her 6-year Pharm-D education, while also sharing her future plans with her friends, academic staff, and families.

After the live performance of Laborantı Titilayomi Olufunso Olutoyin Aboluwoye, from the Faculty of Pharmacy, the graduates wore their white coats. After the invitation of CIU Faculty of Pharmacy Dean, Prof. Dr. Yasemin Yazan, the graduates swore their pharmaceutical oaths, taking their first steps in their career lives.
