Urban Studies

Universally, the sine qua non of all respectable universities’ existence is teaching, research, and public service. The mission of the Center of Urban Studies at Cyprus International University (CIU-CUS), is therefore educating students and the public, creating and disseminating knowledge relevant to Architecture and its allied disciplines through research and scholarship, and serving communities through engagement with governmental and nongovernmental entities on issues of urbanism. 

CIU-CUS sees itself as an able academic body that assists the inhabitants of North Cyprus address the challenges that are faced by cities, towns, and villages with viable and prudent solutions and resolutions of Urbanism issues.
