Research Areas
  • Development of drug delivery systems with specialization in the development and evaluation of Biomaterials for drug delivery and clinical applications. e.g., Stimuli responsive hydrogels pH and Thermosensitive hydrogels for oral and subcutaneous drug delivery. Solubility enhancement and hydrophobic drug delivery through biomaterials. Development of nanoparticles and nanocrystals for drug targeting and hydrophobic drug delivery. Diabetic wound healing and tissue regeneration via physically crosslinked injectable hydrogels. Surface modifications of nanoparticles and drug delivery to cancer cells for enhanced bioavailability. Drug delivery to brain and improved drug targeting to brain for various clinical applications. Development and evaluation of biomimetic and biofunctional hydrogel membranes for controlled drug delivery, wounds application/dressing and tissue regeneration. Pharmacokinetic and bioavailability studies in animal models and Pk analysis using HPLC. HPLC method development and analysis of various biological samples.
